One of our Facility Reservations questions is "What type of gathering are you having". If "Event open to the public" is selected, the patron needs to contact us to obtain prior approval and must go through a permitting process. Another question we have is "Will you need an alcohol permit". If they select yes, the additional fee is added to their reservation, however, they need to go to our website to fill out our Beer/Wine Permit Application. We've explained the additional requirements/steps in the "explanation of question", however, that is only available for the questions and not the individual answers to the questions, so unless someone hovers over the question mark, they do not see the information (which happens 90% of the time). Therefore, on short notice, we are having to scramble to contact these people to collect information regarding their event, collect permit applications, Insurance, fees, etc. Frankly, it causes several issues. It would be helpful if a "pop up alert" option could be added to EACH ANSWER connected to our facility questions. This would allow us to set "pop up alerts" for the answers that have additional requirements and ensure that the patron sees the additional information. Yeah, we'll probably still have to monitor our pavilion report for those who ignore the alerts but I'm guessing it will cut back on those instances dramatically. This would be a BIG time saver throughout our busy season. ALTERNATELY, if there is a way to connect our "Proposed Event Application" or our "Beer/Wine Permit Application" to the facility question answers, the patron would have immediate access to them from the Facility Reservation area and perhaps the "pop up alert" would not be necessary.
