When you create a custom report in Sportsman Web, and go to export it into Excel, it doesn't just pull the custom report information - it pulls ALL data associated with the participant. Could you create a feature to export just the custom fields? It seems silly to have this option to pull a custom report into excel, and then have to edit it to only show the fields you want.

Ours is On Account Invoices, detailed report. Silver Sneakers is the one that we use the most. Deleting all the extra information that is not needed is time consuming. With the Desktop it was really easy and with the Web version it loads everything from a-z and we spend more time deleting what we don't need. I think this last time we wrote our own report as it was faster.

Jordan Walker I use the custom reports exported to excel mostly for an easy copy and paste option with emails. It works well for programs with many different classes like dance. We partner with a dance company to run our dance program so they don't have access to sportsman. I pull class rosters with birthdates, phone numbers, email addresses, etc and send them the excel spreadsheet. They use it to send emails to specific classes. We have over 250 dancers in 20+ different classes so this makes it really fast and easy to ge them information specific to those classes without giving them access to everything.

Jordan Walker, any custom report. It should only pull the fields we select when setting it up. Right now, it pulls every piece of data attached to the person within the report.

Jordan Walker Its not so much specific reports as just drawing in the info I want from the database without have to clean it. For example, we make a lot of our custom reports from customer life cycle, marketing retention, KPI's for OKR periods and much more. A lot of times these reports require us to first clean all the data. For example, we might need 5 columns from the data so we make the customer report and download it to create the next step manually and the download included 35 columns of random data we don't want with confusing headers etc. Really, what would be great, is two overarching reports from the participant/purchase reports, think downloading a participant list with each row being a unique purchase with all information possible on it like date of purchase, price, member age, program start, GL, program area etc. The second very similar at the program level. If I could make custom reports for these that download correctly which column I want as a csv it would help speed up my workflow and I wouldn't have to spend X amount of time cleaning and renaming data for a script.

Similar to this, when building a custom report, all the field options should be available that show up on the Excel export. For example, the "Payment Amount" option is not available as a custom report field for the Financial Activity Report (GL) which is the main field I need for our park shelter deposit report. I have to export it to get that data which means I can not set it up as a scheduled report - I have to manually run it each day.
