Removing Participant without Refund

We do a "CXL KEEP MONEY" cancellation and keep all the money and be sure it is still coded to that GL account. That way they are off the roster, but we keep the money.

Brenda Rundle How did you set that up?

Molly Mahtani we hit "Delete," then the check mark for "Charge Cancellation Fee", then arrow down to select what sort of "keep money" fee it is. We have one that says "Camping No Show/Late CXL" and one that says "REC keep money/late CXL" and one that says "Shelter keep money/late CXL." Each one is coded to go to the correct GL account.

Brenda Rundle but isn't that just a loop hole/workaround that adds unnecessary steps? Sportsman is making you "give a refund", you are then forced to "charge a cancelation fee" to avoid the refund. It all works out in the end, I guess, but it feels like it would be easier just to have options when removing someone: "Give Full Refund", "Give Partial Refund", "No Refund", requiring reasoning for any option.

Justine Clarke yes that was my easy workaround.

sometimes a participant quits a class and we do a pro rated partial refund. It be nice to remove them from the rosters as well

Makes sense to me.

I agree with this!
