We use another software for our league scheduling because of two very important components that save us a TON of time on the backend and prevent potential problems. If Sportsman league scheduling could do these two things it would make a HUGE difference.
  1. Flagging for us when a coach is coaching more than one team and scheduled to coach both teams at the same time. We often have a dad that is coaching multiple children and flagging these scenarios helps us not to double book the coach and/or also allows us put a break in between games for travel time (if needed). Or it also allows us to make sure all the games are back to back if the coach prefers that.
  2. Allowing us to designate for a specific team scheduling requirements. For example, someone says they can coach but only after 7pm or they need this one particular day to have their game in the morning, but the rest of the season doesn't matter when their game is.
One of our most difficult jobs is to find enough coaches, so anything we can do to accommodate situations like the above helps a lot!
