When emailing patrons, it would be extremely helpful if the system could automatically remove duplicate email addresses before sending. Currently, if a parent has multiple children enrolled in the same class or program, the system sends them the same email multiple times.
This is quickly using up our email limits and can also be frustrating for parents who may receive the same message 3–5 times. Having an automatic duplicate-email filter would help reduce unnecessary emails, improve communication efficiency, and create a better experience for both staff and patrons.
