Be Able to Open Multiple Tabs to Manage Separate Memberships

I frequently have to work on more than one membership at a time. To do so, I open up 2 or 3 tabs in Chrome. However, if I have John Doe open in one tab, and I search for Jane Smith in another tab (i.e. responding to a phone call), when I click on Jane Smith, John Doe's info displays instead.
So then I have to back to the Search page, ask for Jane's Smith details again (poor customer experience) and hope that her info opens on the tab.
It would be nice if each tab was self-contained, like the cookie/meta data was per tab.

Being able to use multiple tabs would streamline membership processes for us too. Would it be possible to create a way to have multiple patron account tabs open within the web version instead of multiple browser tabs?

I liked doing memberships better in the desktop version. The new web version is confusing and I often have to go back and fix memberships. I click the membership button enter that patron's name and information go clear to the cash register and click the membership button to do a different patron and it brings up the patron I just did. It would be nice that when you click the membership button you had to look up a patron each time. I know there are other buttons to find patrons once you're on the membership side but they are confusing. Go back to the original way and you don't have to have multiple tabs open on the computer.
