I’d like to suggest adding an “Invoice Number” field directly on the Cash Register screen. The idea is to allow staff to enter an invoice number, and have the system automatically pull up the associated invoice for immediate payment processing.

This would eliminate the need to search for the customer account, locate the specific invoice, and then navigate to the Cash Register. It would streamline workflow, reduce clicks, and improve front-desk efficiency—especially during high-volume periods.
